Ive been hearing alot of rumors and alot of b. s from alot of different traders in here and many other sites and on youtube. Lets clear it all up:

There is no law within the U. S. that currently stipulates that binary options trading is illegal in the United States. If a broker does not have a license, yet it still accepts U. S. clients, then U. S. residents are still able to trade on its platform. Clients will simply will not have their trading safety and security ensured by a licensing agreement that they would with a CFTC regulated broker. That said, if you are a U. S. resident, you do not necessarily need to do business with binary options broker regulated by the CFTC to obtain the benefits of regulation. The simple truth is that with the trading laws that exist within the U. S. it is very difficult for an offshore broker to obtain a license from the CFTC. This may change in the future if laws are revised. In the event of that occurrence, offshore brokers who are almost certainly likely to be licensed in another jurisdiction already will be able to obtain a CFTC license, as well

Now can this change in the future? Yea it can, but probably wont. If the U. S. govt wants to ban binary options trading in the U. S. then they mind as well ban every other single business in America. We live in a free world and free capitalist society right? America would not be where they are if we didnt take the risks we did for the past 250 years. They say the ordinary joe's out there are making millions of dollars and the govt. thinks they are making too much money. What about all the fat cats and hedge funds in charge of wall street..And they aren't making too much?

So in fact every "regulated" bin broker out there would need to comply with CFTC.

Um well there currently is NO LAW in the U. S. that says U. S. traders CAN NOT trade binary options with offshore regulated brokers. Dodd Frank I believe is something different. Because if that were true, the U. S. goverment would ban these companies from even being able to register on their platforms.

If Dodd Frank does say its illegal, then they would have done something about it by now.

Its not illegal, and its not legal either. So can you do it? Yes, but without the security of the government, and as long as they allow you to.

How does that make sense? Its not illegal, but its not legal either? Its totally legal because there is no specific law that states U. S. traders can not trade binary options with off shore brokers, otherwise they would have been very clear about it by now.

If anybody can show me a law that states its illegal to trade with a regulated offshore broker please post it.
